WebSphere is one of the most important application server platforms, usually hosting key financial, health care and government applications. SecureAuth features an out-of-band self-registration method that automatically generates a bilateral credential for end-users. This browser-based solution eliminates the need for administrator resources to deploy software, install upgrades, or train end-users on complex remote access procedures.

SecureAuth utilizes WebSphere secure TAI and LTPA infrastructure to conduct a secure 2-way authentication. The configuration is done via the secure WebSphere security console. SecureAuth utilizes WebSphere’s TAI (Trust Association Interceptors) to become the trusted authentication resource. Once the authentication is conducted, Secureauth creates a LTPA token that the WebSphere application natively trust.

Secureauth also enables enterprise administrators to administer their LDAP for help desk support, user self-serve support and password reset. SecureAuth is an ideal security component for a WebSphere environment as well as an enterprise that also has IBM TIM (Tivoli Identity Manager) and IBM TAMeb (Tivoli Access Manager.)
